Duties

The Logistics Manager is responsible for identifying areas of improvement in logistical functions and proposing strategies to minimize costs and delivery time.

·        Oversee the acquisition of a diverse range of grocery products, ensuring a streamlined and efficient process.

·        Direct the allocation of materials, supplies, and products to optimize inventory levels and meet the dynamic demands of our grocery store.

·        Forecast and align product demand and supply flows to ensure a well-balanced inventory and minimize stockouts.

·        Monitor and manage risks associated with grocery products, implementing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.

·        Manage business systems related to logistics, with a focus on the unique requirements of the industry.

·        Regularly review all logistical functions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to enhance the grocery supply chain.

·        Implement stringent quality control measures for grocery products, ensuring freshness and compliance with industry standards.

·        Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the grocery store setting and ensure the working areas are free of any safety, health, cleanliness, and security violations.

·        Address and resolve any issues related to product quality, inventory discrepancies, or damaged goods promptly and effectively.

·        Work closely with relevant teams to address and resolve issues related to product quality or damaged goods in the grocery context.

·        Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, customs brokers, warehouses, and other corresponding service providers to ensure the smooth flow of goods through the entire supply chain.

·        Reasonably plan logistics costs, identify cost-saving opportunities optimize transportation routes, and improve operational efficiency within the grocery store's supply chain, considering both inbound and outbound logistics.

·        Accurately control the logistics cycle from product acquisition to distribution.

·        Implement robust risk management strategies to prevent and control potential challenges in the logistics process

Requirement

At least 2 years working experience of Logistics or supply chain management.
