Duties

We are a modern accounting firm committed to delivering high-quality financial services to businesses and individuals. We are looking for a software engineer who can wear multiple hats — developing software from end-to-end, maintaining quality through testing, and collaborating with accounting stakeholders to ensure tools fit real business needs.

·        Analyze user needs, such as accounting staff, auditors, and the finance team, to define software requirements.

·        Design system architecture: define modules/components, their interrelationships, data flows, APIs, and storage.

·        Develop software (front-end/back-end, full-stack) using modern frameworks/languages (e.g., Python, C, C#, or Java for server).

·        Write code with attention to performance, security, maintainability, and compliance (data protection, audit trails).

·        Develop internal tools to automate repetitive accounting tasks (e.g., invoice processing, expense reconciliation, document management).

·        Document every aspect of applications and systems as a reference for future maintenance: code comments, system design, and user guides.

·        Collaborate with stakeholders (accountants, auditors, operations) to verify usability, accuracy, and functionality.

·        Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Requirement

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field.
